AUP
Acceptable Use Policy

We are proud of the effort we are making at Indian Creek Schools to include the use of computer and video technologies in the educational experience of our students. It is important that these technologies are taken care of and used properly for educational purposes. We provide all students from Grade K to Grade 12 with individual accounts that give them access to educational software, local and community libraries, research information, streaming video, the Internet, and electronic storage for products they create.

We ask all students to sign an “Acceptable Use Policy” that explains all policies for proper use of these resources. It is required by State and Federal Law, and NHJ Board Policy, that parents/guardians give their children permission to use the Internet and acknowledge understanding of our policies by signing the attached Acceptable Use Policy. We can assure you that we support responsible use of the Internet for students by filtering unacceptable sites and providing supervision while students are using the Internet. The attached form must be signed by both Parents/Guardians and Students. It must be returned to the school from which it is issued. If you have any questions about this process, please contact your child’s school.
